What Type of Questions are asked in Driver CPC Course, Theory Section?

Driver CPC Course, otherwise known as Driver Certificate of Professional Competence Course, has a total of two parts, each with two sections. First Section on each part is normally only given to get a licence. For Commercial use however, you need the full course and the Certificate of Professional Competence.
 The Sections are divided into the Theory and Practical Exams, the first part of theory Exam, the Theoretical text and the first part of the Physical Exam, the Physical Text are what make a normal Drivers Licence. However, with the addition of Case study and the Physical Demonstration are what make a complete Driver CPC. If you wish to drive Commercial, this is compulsory and you need to finish the tests within 2 years of each other.
Let’s talk about the theory section in this Article; What does a Full Theory exam include?
Theory Test Part I

As said before, the Theory part has two parts and they each have a similar format, let’s start with the Theoretical Questions and then move to the Case Study.

Theoretical Questions & Hazard Perception
The Theoretical Questions are all formatted as Multiple choice questions, the questions are not only about the technicalities but also about different little situations and how you need to act accordingly to the events. The Questions can have more than one answers and the questions will tell you how many answers you need to mark in the form of multiple choices below. Let’s take an example below;
What should you do if an accident occurs?
(Mark Any Three)
   Leave the Scene
   Ask people What happened
   Help the Victim
   Check if they are Alive
   Make a Video
   Stop the Bleeding

Out of these there are three correct answers and three wrong ones, however the whole question will be one mark. You need at least 85% on the test of these Multiple Choices to pass, if you fail to hit the mark, you will need to redo the full exam.
The Hazard Perception Test in the Driver CPC is more about understanding potential hazards and assessment of the hazardous situations. There are 19 Video Clips of different situations in the test involving different hazards, they need to be pointed out for you to pass the test. Each video has 20 hazards, for each hazard it is recommended to press the hazard button multiple times for it to register during test. Each clip by itself can have up to 5 marks maximum.

Theory Test Part II
The theory test uses the second part of the Theory Exam for the assessment of commercial Lorry and Truck Drivers.
